Saying endometriosis can be a mouthful, but it is very common among women. It involves the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the tissues that line the pelvis of a woman. It is a rare situation if endometriosis affects organs beyond the pelvic organ.

When a woman goes through her menstrual cycle, the inner lining tissues would break down and then bleed. Endometriosis is very painful because this tissue has no way to leave the body, and gets trapped. When it starts to involve the ovaries, a cyst or several cysts form. The surrounding tissues become irritated and develop scar tissue.

Endometriosis can cause pain and can become severe during a menstrual cycle. It can cause fertility problems, but there are treatments available for this. There are also some natural remedies you can do to soothe those symptoms.

Symptoms

There are several signs of endometriosis, which women should look for.

  • Painful Period-When women experience pelvic pain and cramping, way before their menstrual period has begun, then this can be a cause for concern. Moreover, women experiencing signs of endometriosis might also experience lower back pain and abdominal pain.
  • Bowel movement and Urination-During the menstrual period, if someone faces pain when they urinate, then this could be because of endometriosis.
  • Excessive bleeding-Women should observe how much they bleed during their menstrual cycle. If they think they are bleeding more than usual, then this could be a cause for concern.

The most normal signs of endometriosis may include women experience fatigue, constipation, and diarrhea. These signs particularly appear during a woman’s menstrual cycle.

 Endometrioma cyst

When a woman suffers from endometrioma cyst, then it can make her experience different things, and be vulnerable to different diseases:

  • It causes chronic pelvic pain, which can be very irritating and painful
  • Increases the risk of a woman suffering from ovarian cancer
  • Decreases the chances of a woman getting pregnant
  • Might get in the way of any ongoing fertility treatments
  • Doesn’t let the ovaries function, as they should

The most common symptom of endometrioma cyst is that a woman would experience pain, in their lower belly. This pain doesn’t go away, and might even get worse when she is going through her period. Endometrioma cyst can cause heavy bleeding during periods and pain during intercourse as well.

In fact, many women have reported that before they are diagnosed with endometrioma cyst, they basically feel some kind of pressure or feel sore. However, there are women who don’t feel anything or get any symptoms.

 How to prevent Endometriosis?

There are four ways through which, endometriosis can be prevented:

  • Talking to the doctor about birth control pills, patches
  • Lowering down estrogen levels
  • Exercise on a regular basis
  • Avoid alcohol, because it increases estrogen levels
  • Avoid drinks that have a lot of caffeine in it

 Endometriosis surgery

To get rid of endometriosis, there are treatments and surgery available. The most commonly prescribed medicines for endometriosis are:

  • ibuprofen
  • naproxen sodium

These two medicines help in relieving pelvic pain and menstrual cramping. However, these medications are only for pain and they don’t stop the progression of endometriosis. If you wanted to try a natural remedy Maxine+Morgans Flow Formula has been shown to help many women that experience Endometriosis. Many say they take less over-the-counter drugs and some even don’t need to take over-the-counter drugs. Women have reported taking double the dose of Maxine+Morgans Flow Formulaand it has decreased the symptoms dramatically.

As for reducing the size of endometriosis implants, doctors prescribe gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs. These drugs prevent estrogen production, and menstrual periods to stop. This could look like menopause, and a lack of estrogen can have other effects as well as hot flashes and vaginal dryness.

If someone has severe endometriosis, only then would a doctor suggest endometriosis surgery. If a woman has been trying to get pregnant, but can’t because of endometriosis, then this could also increase their chances of getting pregnant.

In terms of endometriosis surgery, a woman can get conservative surgery. This time the surgery removes endometrial tissue and preserves the reproductive organs like the uterus. Most women also go for a hysterectomy, if their endometriosis is very severe. In this case, however, the surgeon has to remove the uterus, the ovaries, and cervix. This eliminates the chance of a woman getting pregnant again, which is why it is the last resort that surgeons choose.
